Treverton Reference

It is my sincere pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Ayanda Zaca, whom I have come to know both professionally and personally over the past five years.

Ayanda was introduced to us at Treverton College through a mutual friend, at a time when our school community was grappling with sensitive and complex social issues, particularly around matters of race. We were looking for someone who could walk with us through these challenges while also respecting the values that underpin our Christian ethos. Ayanda did this—and more.

With grace, insight, and exceptional emotional intelligence, Ayanda helped us navigate a critical period in our school’s journey. He has a rare gift for listening deeply and discerning the real issues at play, often beyond what is said explicitly. His facilitation was marked by wisdom, empathy, and a deep understanding of how to guide people and organisations through necessary but often uncomfortable conversations. Importantly, he created a safe and respectful environment where difficult topics could be engaged meaningfully and constructively.

Beyond his work with the broader school community, Ayanda has also provided personal mentoring and support to key leadership figures within our institution, including the Headmaster and Chaplain. His impact has been hugely significant. He brings clarity of thought, a strong sense of purpose, and a strategic mindset to his work.

What sets Ayanda apart is not only his professional expertise but also his authenticity and integrity. He is someone we trust deeply and whose voice carries weight in our community. His understanding of organisational dynamics, leadership development, and cultural transformation is exceptional.

I recommend Ayanda without reservation for any role or engagement that requires thoughtful leadership, emotional intelligence, and strategic clarity. He is a gifted and sincere consultant, a trusted advisor, and a person of deep character.
